A quickie after a long day
I was in the writing mood this afternoon (I didn’t do a thing about clearing my backlog of e-mail… see, I really do have a finite number of words per day in me).
I nuked about 400 words from the beginning of Ch3 (going in a direction I didn’t want to go). They were my usual “I’m not sure where I want to go next, so I’ll go micro.” In any event, they didn’t advance the story, so they went the way of the dodo.
In their place, I cranked out 2,815 words, with a couple of pivotal scenes, which set up some even more important scenes. The upcoming scenes are ones I’ve had in my head for a while now. It’ll be nice to get them “on paper.”
So things are moving along.
Like I said, a quickie update after a long day.

I think I can speak for everyone in that we are incredibly excited abou the progress on SC4. Thanks for all your effort.
I completely agree with Biritix…I was super-pumped to see that new message on the B4 page, because I finally had to set some limits and not allow myself to look more than every other day, because I found myself checking “just in case” every time I checked my email….I hope this is heartening news for you; you’ve become part of my daily life. I can only hope that one day, people will be checking for me that often…people who aren’t my students, as I plan to be a college prof, lol.
Funnily enough, I completely agree with amber on a point of her message - the date also allows me to restrict my checks on the SC4 page to only once a day, compared to every 5 minutes
Don’t ever get us to drink the Kool Aid Nick, or else there will be problems.
I’ve Also had to limit my checking…
